Freighthouse Lot Improvements
Construction for the Freighthouse Lot is currently scheduled to begin May 11, 2026. Please note that all timelines are weather dependent, and dates may shift accordingly.
Once construction begins, the project is expected to last approximately three weeks.
During this time, the Freighthouse Lot will be unavailable. Visitors are encouraged to use the Maple Street Parking Lot as an alternative parking option (This lot is free to use and available to the public):

Ballard Lot & Alleyway Improvements
Construction for the Ballard Lot and its adjacent alleyway is anticipated to begin on May 4, 2026. This project will improve accessibility, safety, and overall usability of the space.
Additional updates, including timeline and access impacts, will be shared as construction approaches.

Michigan Avenue Median Repair
Median repair work along Michigan Avenue is expected to take place in July–August 2026.
This work will require temporary lane reductions, which may impact traffic flow through the corridor. Drivers should plan for minor delays and use caution when traveling through construction zones.
More detailed traffic updates will be provided closer to the start of construction.
