As a DDA Business/Merchant, we invite you to participate in our ExploreYpsi Gift Card program. The Ypsi DDA, GameAbove, and Engage@EMU have partnered together to put $10 gift cards in the hands of 2,000 new EMU students.
Why Join?
Introduce new students to your establishment and to Ypsilanti!
Students are more likely to revisit a business district once they finally get themselves through the doors of one of the businesses.
Cards can ONLY be used at participating merchants within the DDA!
No special technology or administration required to participate! (Must accept Mastercard and be able to key in the transaction like a phone order.)
No back-office administration! Funds are automatically paid to you, via your usual Mastercard processor.
There is no fee to participate!
how the cards work
SIGN UP with the Ypsilanti DDA
RUN THE “ACTIVATION CARD” as a digital Mastercard on your PoS to join.
ADVERTISE the Community Gift Card by displaying provided window clings and table tents
REDEEM GIFT CARDS as students come in with a Community Gift Card on their phone (or printed).
GET PAID as usual by your Mastercard bank. Mastercard will authorize the purchases.
